I had a very concerning experience regarding food handling practices at your restaurant. While waiting for my order, I observed an employee who was packaging food reach into his pants and scratch himself in a private area. He then appeared to smell his hand and continued working. When I expressed concern and asked whether he would wash his hands, he did not go to properly wash them. Instead, he briefly stepped to the back and returned, applying hand sanitizer before resuming food handling. I found this extremely unsanitary and concerning. The response from staff seemed dismissive, as though this behavior was acceptable, which only added to my concern. I strongly recommend reviewing food safety protocols and requiring employees who are handling and packaging food to follow proper handwashing procedures and wear gloves when appropriate. Food safety should be taken seriously, and I intend to report these concerns to the appropriate city health department for review. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for all customers.

Dear Aloha Hawaiian BBQ Management, Good day. I would like to share feedback regarding our visit to your restaurant yesterday, March 10, 2026, at approximately 4:25 PM at the Tustin location (2336 Park Ave, Tustin, CA 92782). My girlfriend and I ordered a Loco Moco, Chicken Katsu, and Mahi with BBQ Chicken. When I opened my Loco Moco, I noticed piece of eggshell on the egg. I took a photo and politely informed the cashier. She kindly offered to replace the dish, which I appreciated, but I told her it was fine and that I simply wanted to make them aware so extra care could be taken in the future. Later, while my girlfriend was eating her macaroni salad, she noticed a small hair in it. I took a photo and informed a different cashier. Unfortunately, his reaction was concerning as he did not apologize or offer assistance. I waited a few minutes to see if any action would be taken, but nothing happened. When I followed up again, he asked, “What do you want me to do?” At that point, I requested a new macaroni salad, and he provided a replacement. We genuinely enjoy eating at your restaurant and have had good experiences in the past. However, incidents like these—particularly the food

The amount of food is crazy in this place. If you order the plate then it is enough for 2-3 people. If you don't want to have leftovers do the small/mini ones. The food was good with a ton of meat. There are a lot of options too like teriyaki chicken, BBQ beef, ribs, fish, etc. The only thing is every time I visited there there was always something way too salty, sometimes the chicken sometimes the BBQ beef.

We visited this cozy Hawaiian BBQ place during a team lunch. It's tucked into the Crossroads Plaza, which has limited parking near the restaurant—but don’t worry, you can easily park at the nearby Target and take a short walk. The restaurant itself is small with limited seating, so it might not be ideal during peak hours. However, the food and value definitely make up for it! Hawaiian BBQ places are known for their generous portions, and this one didn’t disappoint. A regular plate is easily enough for two people. Our group tried the chicken katsu, BBQ platter, and seafood mix. The chicken katsu and BBQ platter were a bit too greasy but good and satisfying. The seafood mix was decent; the fish was slightly under-seasoned but paired well with the sauce provided. The staff was friendly, and service was quick—probably because we came during off-peak hours. For the price, the portions and quality are excellent, leaving you feeling full and content. Would definitely recommend for a casual lunch or takeout if you're in the area!
